MoorPilot watches the harbour you name and emails you when that harbour is open to the weather that is coming. It is not a weather forecast. It does not replace checking the boat in person.

We store your email, the harbour you picked, how far you are from it, the terms version you accepted, and the time and IP of that acceptance. We send a confirmation email first. Until you confirm, we send nothing else. Unconfirmed addresses are deleted after 30 days.

Confirmed subscribers receive a Thursday picture of the next 72 hours, and later the alerts the product is built for. Alert emails include a link to manage alerts. Product news, if you opt in separately, includes a one-click unsubscribe. Account emails (confirmation, login) have no unsubscribe because they are part of running the service. There is no account password.

You can stop alerts from any alert or Thursday email. You can leave the news list from any news email, or use the unsubscribe link in the site footer.
