MoorPilot processes the data needed to watch the harbour you name and to email you when a boat already tied up there needs checking.

We store your name, email, the harbour you picked, optional boat and berth details, the consents you gave, and the time of those consents. After you confirm the magic-link email we keep a signed session cookie on www.moorpilot.com so you stay signed in. There is no password.

Forecasts come from Open-Meteo. We cache wind at a grid point for the harbour, not for you personally. The home map loads map tiles from Stadia Maps so we can draw the coast; that request includes the map area on screen, not your name or email. We do not sell your data. We do not use a third-party identity provider.

Service email (confirmation, sign-in, harbour alerts, the Thursday recap) is part of running the account. Accepting this policy also covers occasional product notes. You can ask us to stop processing or to erase the account.
